Power consumption of your typical LED is over 85% less than a standard incandescent light of the same intensity. For example, a 20 watt halogen landscape light puts out the same brightness as three bright white LEDs, but the LEDs use only 3 watts of power! For your typical lighting application of 6 flood lights, the LED application is more than 650% more efficient!!
